This Factory Five Shelby Daytona replica was completed in 2018 and has just over 1,500 miles since completion. It is finished in Shelby blue with white racing stripes over a black leather interior, and power comes from a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 paired with a Tremec six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes air conditioning, racing harnesses, and bucket seats.
The exterior is finished in Shelby blue with white stripes, a homage to the 1965 World Championship-winning Shelby Daytona Coupe. This chassis was assembled and painted by Factory Five Racing. Exterior features include chrome side-exit exhaust pipes, integrated driving lights, and a quick-release fuel cap. Halibrand-style wheels are mounted at all four corners, and the Type 65 features four-wheel independent coilover suspension and disc brakes.
The interior is trimmed in black leather with color-matching carpets and Alcantara-covered door panels. Equipment includes racing-style bucket seats, four-point harnesses, a three-spoke steering wheel, Wilwood pedals, an integrated roll cage, and air conditioning. AutoMeter instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and voltage.
